WHAT IN THE PUNK IS THIS?

For my theory essay, I explored the influence of punk, which I noticed while diving into Playboi Carti's label, Opium. Founded in 2019, Opium is known for its "rage-rap" sound and edgy aesthetics, with artists like Ken Carson and Destroy Lonely. I realized that punk's raw, DIY aesthetic featuring collage-style layouts, handwritten typography, and an anti-aesthetic, rebellious approach continues to shape modern graphic design, streetwear, and subcultures with its bold colors, asymmetry, and imperfections.
